My Hydroponics Diary

Very new to this. Looked it up on Youtube, bought a couple of second hand books on it and went to a shop. Shops seem to bhydroponicse rare or closed. I know its done on the International Space Station.

Finally started with what I had available from gardening and some boxes that I haven’t used recently. From what I’ve picked up the whole thing can be very creative and DIY. The only  mistakes seem to be if the seedling doesn’t work.

I started on September 6 2023.  The greenhouse gardening started in August not Spring but that will be covered later on a different page.

Starting off with a container bought from a household shop and an ice cube maker and a seedling tray thing bought from a hydroponics shop.

This box now contains a black seed tray bought from a hydroponics shop and an icecube maker from a local shop that sells such things. The brown / yellow square shapes and things in them are variations of rockwooll.

Day 1. 6 sept. 2023 Cucumber
Lettuce
Tomato

All these seeds were what I had to hand, the tomatoe seeds were from an actual tomatoe.
